The Fault in Our Faults

Remember the seven cardinal sins? You’re given the serious task of adding a new one to the list — another trait or behavior you find particularly unacceptable, for whatever reason. What’s sin #8 for you? Why?

What a great Earth this would be if all people gather their brains and start thinking about solutions to problems rather than dwelling on them, and spending precious time thinking who’s to blame. The sad reality is, the human race is a great fault-finding committee, an alliance of trouble shooters, that takes satisfaction on being the first to see a problem but too dumb to hit a solution.

I do not have a name for this grievous fault, but finding fault in other people but without intention of rectifying them through sincere recommendations, or worse, finding fault in other people without thinking deeply if these are faults to be dealt with the first place, is a deadly sin.

God bless these poor souls.
